This has been a most fabulous experience on my special day. Samantha was professional, warm, friendly, and went beyond what I was expecting to pull off our wedding with such short notice. My makeup was flawless and perfect, and I got tons of compliments. My hubby and I were quite impressed with her and her team. I will be utilizing her other services and would recommend her wholeheartedly. Kudos to Blue Wave Studios and a job well done.

Samantha and Christina did such an AMAZING job for my engagement shoot this past Monday in Asheville. I wanted to find a local make-up artist who specialized in soft, romantic glam and natural styles. Prior to the shoot we chatted about inspiration photos, likes vs dislikes, and overall styles. Samantha really took the time to learn about me. She and Christina were so easy to talk to and even gave me tips for everyday styling and comfort. I was really nervous about booking the right HMUA when it came to a destination engagement shoot, and I’m so happy I made the right decision to go with Blue Waves Studio. I also found that the pricing was so much more affordable than other studios in Asheville. 100% recommend them for your hair and make-up needs!!!

Samantha is amazing! She was unbelievably kind and compassionate. She worked with me one on one to nail down the exact look I was going for. She took into consideration all that I was wanting and was very thoughtful in her makeup choices (as I can be picky). Samantha and Victoria were my stylist for my elopement at the Yellow House Inn. Both ladies were very timely, professional and did excellent work. They are very comfortable in new environments and very efficient at their jobs. They cater to what you like in terms of your style. 10/10 recommend. Samantha reached out when I was desperately looking for someone to do makeup for a model during a bridal session. I requested “simple, clean, and romantic” (I don’t do makeup - I wasn’t even sure I was describing what I was picturing correctly). She showed up (early), was fully prepared, and did the cleanest look on Susan. She did a soft pink lip that looked very subtle, added freckles back onto Susan after applying makeup, did her eyelashes and a very soft eye. Susan could not stop saying how pretty and healthy the look was (it looked like she spent the day outside at a pool on a nice summer day).

10/10 recommend. Not only did the model feel great but the makeup photographed perfectly. I have plans to go to her soon for temporary freckles (since my makeup covers mine) JUST because of this shoot.
