Bride's Welcome Guide

Inspiration Photos

Where can I get inspiration photos?

For email inspiration photo submissions, Pinterest and Instagram are great resources when searching “bridal makeup” or “bridal hairstyles”. In addition to searching for bridal-specific photos, try searching for photos from red carpets, special events, images from influencers you may follow, or other celebrities are also helpful.

Selfies

Along with hair and makeup inspiration photos, we also request selfie photo submissions, as this helps with appointment efficiency and helps us envision how inspiration photos will translate for your hair and makeup considerations. Please take selfies in bright, natural lighting with little to no makeup on, showing your hair length in the photo as well. ✨🌿

Hair Prep for Appointment Times

Bridal Party Hair Prep Considerations

For hair prep considerations, if all ladies could plan to wash their hair the night prior to ensure the hair is clean and fully dry for the day of that is preferred. Washing the hair a day or two days prior is fine also - please wash as your hair does best for clean, dry hair the day of. It’s also best to avoid using any heavy, cream or oil products the week leading up to the styling appointment. For those with curly, wavy hair types, a light detangling spray can also be used (applied to hair after washing the night before from the mid-shaft of your hair to your ends only) after washing hair the night prior, but it’s best to avoid any heavier products, as well as any salt sprays or texturizing sprays. We also recommend using a clarifying shampoo two weeks out and the week of to remove any product build-up as well.

Important to Note — Please READ

Also, due to timing constraints on the day of, for bridal party members booked for bridal hairstyling service appointments, that have extra thick / extra long hair and a natural curly hair pattern they do not wish to utilize, but rather have their hair pre-curled prior to constructing for styling - they will need to arrive with clean dry, hair straightened for their styling appointment service.

If any bridal party members wish to bring clip-in extensions for their styling appointments, please let us know prior if possible. As any hair clip-in applications needed are an add-on service for partial or a full set application.

Please reach out if any bridal party members have questions in regards to hairstyling and/or makeup! 🌸

Office Hours

Our office hours are Monday through Thursday, 10AM - 2PM and 4-6PM weekly. During these times, you can expect a response to your emails within 24 - 48 hours. We are unavailable via email on Fridays and weekends because we are on-site for events. Preferred Contact Methods

The best method of contact for us is email. This allows us to keep all of our client communication in one place so details don’t get missed or forgotten.

However, there are times when you may need to contact us by phone (e.g., we have an in-person meeting you’re running late for, or your wedding is within days, and a major issue comes up). In those cases, please contact me via my cellphone number 828-419-0475

Meetings

If a phone call is needed throughout the planning process, we’d be happy to accommodate that. However, we request that you schedule all phone calls so we can give you our undivided attention as we discuss your wedding details. This ensures we have all of the info we need right at our fingertips and enables us to keep track of everything for future reference.

We would never want to forget something that was said during a call because we couldn’t log the details of our conversation right on the spot. If something comes up that you need to discuss via phone between our meetings, simply send us an email, and we’ll set up a time to chat!

Thank you, we look forward to working with you! <3
